When I initially hung my shingle, I didn’t know what I was doing from a business-building perspective.
I can say that now, but back then, I was stubborn, proud, and thought I could wing it.
I struggled in those early days. It was horrible.
I was undercharging and overdelivering and didn’t have enough clients, which quickly led to a loss of confidence and becoming exhausted, frustrated and broke.
I was completely spinning my wheels for the first few years.
It wasn’t until I put my ego aside. I hired my first business growth coach, who quickly identified the gaps in my business, and I was able to go from basically creating a part-time, low-paying, unsatisfying job for myself to growing a successful and profitable full-time coaching business on my terms, working virtually and globally, sharing my expertise with the world.
