It’s too easy to be swept along by life’s circumstances and to become reactionary rather than intentional. If I had accepted my fate as a child with a speech impediment, precipitating a fear of speaking, lack of self-worth, and no self-confidence, I would be living with my parents, on disability insurance, and not fulfilling my life’s mission.

I would have robbed myself of the opportunity for growth and healing, and I would have been regretful for not creating a different reality.

It took me many years to piece my story together and many more years to finally find my voice to tell it. And as I continue to walk my purpose, additional layers of my story get revealed.
