The end of the year is approaching and many business owners are feeling the pressure of making 2021 a strong year. At the same time, planning for 2022 has already begun. Here are some tips to make the most of the last few months of the year and avoid getting overwhelmed in this busy time of year.
The year isn’t over yet, how will you maximize the 4th quarter spending season?
Jay Abraham says there are 3 ways to grow a company:
- Increase the number of customers
- Increase the average transaction value
- Increase the frequency of repurchase
Leverage Momentum
Look at where you already have momentum in your business, and add fuel to that fire. When I work with my clients we work with momentum, because we can grow your business by 35% or more when we work with the momentum you already have. Why? Because you’ll get results faster by focusing on momentum than any other marketing strategy on the market today.
Focus on Impact Areas
Look at the key impact areas of your business, to determine what buttons to push and levers to pull — to gain traction. List out all of the ways you are currently increasing traffic, leads, conversions, frequency of purchase and customer purchase amount. Brainstorm a couple of ways you can make incremental improvements in one or two of these key impact areas. Small, incremental changes made consistently over time yield exponential results.
Think Longer Term
Start planning for the first quarter of 2022, now. Identify the ‘big rock’ priority projects you want to kick-off in January, and list out the action steps you need to take in order to move those projects forward.
Prioritize Self Care
It’s been a busy and stressful year for many people. At this time of year, the heaviness of what we’ve been carrying all year can result in burnout, overwhelm and exhaustion. Self-care is a key business strategy. The health of your business is completely dependent on your own mental, emotional and physical health. Block out downtime, exercise, family time, vacation days and ‘white space’ in your calendar, so you can breathe, think and reflect. This will increase your clarity, ability to focus and make good decisions.
Wishing you a successful fourth quarter!
